In the 2021/22 school year, Blue School is launching once again two Ocean Literacy courses for teachers.
With the partnership of different entities of the Blue School network, these courses focus on Ocean Literacy from different perspectives and approaches, in a holistic and applied vision that truly reflects an “Ocean Literacy for All”.
The course “Ocean Literacy for All I” (28h) focuses on the following topics: Ocean Literacy, the Value of the Ocean, Sustainability, Sustainable Consuption of Fish, and Circular Economy.

The course “Ocean Literacy for All II” (26h) focuses on the following topics: Biodiversity, Maritime History of the Archipelagos, Maritime Spatial Planning, Culture and the Ocean, and Gender Equality in the Ocean.
