The competition "Your Voice for the Sea – The Future of the Ocean Starts with You!" challenges secondary school students from Blue Schools in mainland Portugal to think about the Ocean of tomorrow and present proposals to address the challenges affecting the sea and the communities that depend on it.
This challenge aims to encourage young people to participate in building a sustainable Blue Economy, giving space to their ideas, concerns, and solutions for the future of the Ocean.
More than testing knowledge, we want to hear your ideas, understand your vision, and give a voice to your views on the Ocean and the role that public policies can play in creating a more sustainable future.
Participants are invited to submit a video presenting one maritime public policy measure and three concrete proposals that address Ocean-related challenges.
Applications are open until 9 April 2027.
