In this experience, hosted by the Oceanário de Lisboa in partnership with the "Escola Azul" (Blue School) program—an initiative of the Directorate-General for Maritime Policy—students had the opportunity to discover what happens beyond the view of the general public. They explored the concept behind the "Submerged Forests" exhibition, the challenges involved in its daily maintenance, and how a multidisciplinary team ensures the balance of this extraordinary aquatic ecosystem, originally designed by master aquascaper Takashi Amano.

Throughout the session, various insights, processes, and stories were shared, illustrating how science, technical expertise, art, and dedication come together to create a unique experience. This allowed students to gain an understanding of the work that takes place behind the scenes of an exhibition of this scale.

It was an exclusive opportunity to see the "other side" of the Oceanário and experience the "Submerged Forests" from a different perspective, uncovering everything that makes this exhibition truly one-of-a-kind.
