Escola Azul is preparing an online session for teachers dedicated to a topic that has been emerging in recent years and has great educational potential: aquaponics. Aquaponics is a sustainable food production system that combines fish farming (aquaculture) with plant cultivation (hydroponics).
The webinar "Aquaponics: What It Is and How to Apply It in a School Context" will take place on March 11 at 18h00 (Lisbon time). Its purpose is to introduce the topic of aquaponics and explore how it can represent an opportunity for schools. The session will be led by one of our newest partners, Aquaponics Iberia, which coordinates the XRAqua project, an innovative educational initiative that combines aquaponics with virtual reality to create an immersive learning experience.
