Escola Azul is once again challenging young artists from pre-primary education. This year, in partnership with the University of Aveiro, we have launched the challenge “Little Artists Explore the Ocean with Clio”.
The initiative aims to encourage and reward the creation of artistic works inspired by the reading and interpretation of the Portuguese edition of the book Explore the Ocean with Clio, written by Ana I. Lillebø and Dionísia Laranjeiro, with illustrations by João Laranjeiro. The book was developed within the framework of the European project A-AAGORA and funded by the European Union through the Mission “Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030”.
This initiative is aimed exclusively at pre-primary classes from Blue Schools across Portugal.
To take part, please complete the Registration Form and register your school to receive copies of the book Explore the Ocean with Clio, which will serve as the foundation for the artistic model or artwork to be created.
Registrations are open until 6 November 2026, and the books will be distributed during the following week.
